Is variety the spice of life? It's surely the spice of the bakery! You might remember that we use two different types of cinnamon to round out the flavor of our Cinnamon Rolls. But that's not the only time we use different types of the same ingredient to get a better tasting end result. This week we're serving French Onion Soup, which sounds pretty straightforward, right? But to round out the flavor, we use three kinds of onions. Bet you didn't think that was important, but wait until you try the soup – you'll see for yourself!

We'll be adding variety in a different way this weekend: it's time for the annual Greater Cincinnati Retail Bakers' Association Meet-n-Greet Workshop. We always learn new formulas and techniques from a variety of bakers from around the Cincinnati area including parts of Indiana & Kentucky. This year the national RBA organization is also participating, so bakers from even more states will add to the experience. As in past years, we'll be closed on Monday, and also closing early on Saturday to travel down there, so if you need to pick something up for the weekend, PLACE YOUR ORDER NOW!!!

Sneak peek for next week: Trees & Cheese Soup (that would be Broccoli-Cheddar Soup) served with a dinner roll.
