Stahls E- News

Does it seem like the end of summer actually brings on more activities? Not things like raking leaves or planting spring bulbs, but official, community gatherings. Maybe this is just the perfect time of year for that sort of thing; the school year brings vacations to an end and everyone to roost, but the weather is so great that we yearn to be outdoors as long as possible. Seems like that's this weekend in Portage County, anyway. In Kent, there's the “Round Town” annual folk festival, Brimfield has its Brimfest, and Ravenna's annual Balloon-A-Fair starts Saturday. Don't worry about missing anything, either; with proper planning and enough nutritional intake, getting to everything is totally doable.

Naturally, Stahl's can help with the carb-loading, either at our storefront in the Kinko's Plaza, or at the Stow Farmers' Market on Saturday morning. Our bread this week is Italian, both with sesame seeds and without. Other treats are coming too, of course; colorful Fall Leaf and Monarch Frosted Cookies, Caramel-filled Brownies, Cupcakes, and as a special treat, the long-awaited Petit Fours! Almond pound cake, almond glaze, cute little fall leaf on top – yum! Once you get some goodies, stop by the front of the market, too; Mocha Joe's of Stow provides free coffee, hammered dulcimer & guitar music will be featured, and this week at the community booth, Walgreens will be sharing info on their senior vaccine services. Until then, get some sleep while you can.

See you Saturday!
