Raisin Redux...sort of.

Due to popular demand at the Stow Community Farmers' Market (1567 Pilgrim Dr.) , we made a nice, delicious, juicy batch of Raisin Bread last Saturday. Unfortunately, the loaves never made it to the market, since we never made it to the market. Don't be sad for the poor, lonely Raisin Bread, though; they all went to good homes. Probably. (We don't really screen those who adopt our bread, ya know?) Anyhow, since there are only two market Saturdays left this season, we plan to be at them both. And we will be making another batch of Raisin Bread – but not until next Saturday. Another little switcheroo is that they'll be Cinnamon Raisin Swirl; just the right amount of fancy-fancy for the season farewell.

This week, though, we'll be treating Stow to Italian Bread, among other things. Things like Cherry-Cheese Tea Rings, Cinnamon Rolls, and change-of-season Frosted Cookies like Monarch Butterflies and Fall Leaves.

No need to feel left out, Kent – on Monday, we'll be bringing more Italian Bread to the Water Street Church (1541 S. Water St) for the last Old Brethren Market of the season. We'll also have Czech Pastries, Coconut Macaroons, and Caramel-filled Brownies. The market goes from 4-7, so stop by on your way home from work to load up on the season's last super-fresh veggies.

See you soon!
